This layout was created for May's ScrapJack challenge. Here I have taken inspiration from Mel's gorgeous layout with an angled photo and a photo of someone cuddling someone else (not quite a cat but just as cute). The photos are of my neice's daughters, Zoe and Lyla.

Please - just one good pic
Photographing children always fraught with problems. But if they are your great nieces and so gorgeous, any photo will be cute and my niece will love them anyway. I'll just remember not to submit these pics for competition!!!

Those Eyes
This layout was created for ScrapChat's May sketch challenge. The photo is of my great nephew, Cooper, who has the most amazing eyes.
Your Face
This layout is for ARTastic's May challenge, based on the inspiration from the artwork "Mother and Sarah admiring the baby", by Mary Cassatt. The additional criteria includes a photo of an adult/ baby, some orange and some lace. My photo is of my lovely niece, Treesje and her gorgeous new baby, Lyla.
Forty
This layout is for the May 1 sketch on Stuck!?Sketches blog. The photo is old (1993) but one of those moments you must celebrate. To be eligible for the RES challenge I have also added PP as my backing papers.

Benalla Camera Club - Ian Rolfe Landscape Photography workshopOut
Our club were very lucky this weekend to have a visit by Ian Rolfe, a professional landscape photographer (you should check out his amazing website). We had a 3 hours workshop on Saturday, and spent Saturday afternoon at Lake Nilhacootie. Sunday morning saw us waiting for a sunrise at 6.30 am on the shores of Lake Benalla. While we didn't get the sunrise colors, I did get this one not long after.

The RED EARTH ROAD TRIP
Looks like one of the sites I play on is having a BIG competition - we are off on a road trip, complete with FJ holden, car sick kids, and 'girls day out'. Sounds like fun... 12 towns, 12 weeks, 12 challenges.
Why don't you join in

Benalla Camera Club - May mounted prints
The Camera Club competition for May 2011 mounted prints is OPEN.
The first is a landscape, taken over Easter when Daren and I did a road trip across the Snowy Mountains to Tathra. This photo is taken at Khancoban, early morning (as all good photographers get up for!) as the mists began to rise over the lake.
My second photo was taken in March, during the club outing to Finley where the Veteran Car Club were holding their annual rally (I think I've posted this one before, but I do like it)

Benalla Camera Club - May EDPI
The EDPI challenge for May 2011 is "UPSIDE DOWN". Now I can tell you that I have turned myself upside down to find a suitable picture and this is the best I can get...
The first is autumn leaves handing upside down (as they do), the photo taken at Bright during the April Camera Club outing.

The second is a reflection taken on the Warranbayne-Baddaginni Road, that I drive past every morning on my way to work.
