For this month's July competition, I have taken inspiration from Lisa's gorgeous layout. I love the simplicity of her layout as well as the small photos as well as the distressing.

RERT Week 8 - Burnie (Tasmania)

This week we are in cold Tasmania, in Burnie. The theme for the layout is using paper and the secret item is twine. This is my layout "Hurry-Up" of my great nephews just being gorgeous.

Screen to Scrap - July challenge

I couldn't resist this month S2S challenge, taking inspiration from the movie poster EVE. The additional criteria were 4X arrows, hearts and some half/ quarter photos.

RERT - Week 7 Great Ocean Road

We are over half way on our road trip and the Red Earth Scrapping CT have brought us some wonderful challenges. This week we are on our way down the Great Ocean Road. The layout challenge is to use a different size from our usual 12X12, and the card challenge is to use a photograph on the card. The secret item was some sea shells.

RERT Week 6 goes to the Snowy Mountains - It's SNOW GOOD

Week 6 and we are off to see the snow in the beautiful Snowy Mountains. The challenge this week is to do a layout with White On White, and of course the bonus item this week is a snowflake!
I've had a go at using a TH mask with some glimmermist on the right hand side, with some black scripty print on the top. I'm happy with the result.

RERT Week 5 Dunk Island

We are off to the warmth of Dunk Island, with lazy days, warm seas, coral reefs and pina coladas. Unfortunately as I write this it is actually sleeting outside so I don't feel very warm. However, I have dug up an old (and very favourite) photo of Aidan at 6 years of age when we camped down at Fraser National Park. The criteria for this challenge is to do a layout with mostly blue, and the secret item is a small butterfly.

RERT Week 5 Tennant Creek

Off to the centre of Australia, and its reds/ browns/ oranges and the dots and spots of Aboriginal Art. This is an old photo from our trip to Central Australia last year.
