Soul Scrappers THC 49: Charlton
The theme challenge at Soul this month is "HOME". I've had this photo for a while, after visiting my old home a few years ago. It tells the story of our family's home in Charlton, a new and proud place in 1958, now a derelict and unloved commission house.

Oh, this is lovely. I love the trees and fence and the meshy layer. The misting gives it that perfect touch. Lovely job on this one Jen!

ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the range of emotions you must have gone through going back to your childhood home and finding it not being as loved as it once was.

ReplyDeleteSuch a great LO, the misting adds the perfect touch! This looks exactly like the first house we lived in at Horsham and the last time I saw it was run down as well, I remember my parents had it looking so neat and clean.
