Benalla Camera Club

What a year with the Benalla Camera Club. I was so chuffed to be awarded both the Most Improved Photograher of the Year and the Best EDPI photo. AND I was second in the over all aggregate (Judy McEachern scored 425 and I scored 414) I can't believe I scored so close to Judy as she is an absolutely awesome photographer.
Here is my entry for the EDPI competition (titled: What's that Noise):

Still Strong

This my first layout for Soul Scrappers (SC26) and my 110th (and last) layout for 2010. I'm even surprised with how many I've done. I wonder what the new year will bring....

Xmas rocks

And this layout was created for Stuck!?Sketches (15rh Dec) which also served as the sketch for Red Earth Scrapping. The photo is of my great nephew, Joshua, now 4 (and brother of Kiara). I think he is sooo cute.

One tired little angel

This photo is of my beautiful great neice, Kiara. The layout if for Scrap the Girls - December challenge, which was to use a red/ green color combo.

and this layout was made for ScrapChat's November sketch challenge. Mumm put together a wonder layout for inspiration that encouraged a layout that was a bit outside the usual square.

Pupil of the week

This layout was a challenge on Red Earth Scrapping - taking inspiration from a layout by Mistra. My inspiration came from the cogwheels, the circle feature and the colors.

Super Models - boys on the catwalk

This layout was created for November's Scrap the Boys. The theme was superheroes, and in a comic book style, but as I didn't have any superman photos I had to settle for Super Models. The boys were catwalk models for a fashion parade at NSPS for a fundraiser. Old photos yet again....

Here's looking at you KID

This layout is for November's Scrap to Screen challenge. The inspiration came from a Casablanca movie poster and you had to have a 2-color title, 2 photos (or 2 people) and an airplane. The pictures are of Aidan and myself on Australia Day 1995 during a community bike ride. Aidan looks so small but he was one tough bike rider.

I PURR therefore I am.....

This is a layout I did for a random Halloween challenge on Scrap Chat.

ARTastic Nov 2010

This is my entry into the ARTastic Nov 2010 challenge. The criteria was to have inspiration from a 'beachy' photo by Chris Wake, as well as a beach item (towel, bucket) and some seagulls.

Stuck?!Sketches Nov (1)

This is my layout for the first challenge for Stuck?!Sketches for November.
The photo is of my beautiful great neices Zoe and Lyla

So this is my blog.

Well this is something I thought I would never do, and really I have no idea what I am doing. But as the saying goes, you can teach an old girl new tricks (especially when it comes to IT).

So to start the blog rolling, I thought I'd share a photo I took on the weekend during the Benalla Festival.
