Benalla Camera Club outing

Last Saturday the camera club headed up to Finley in NSW, to again meet up with the members of the Veteran Car Club of Australia. We met them last year and were again invited to take photos of the members and their beautiful cars. Here are a couple of my preliminary photos, will put some more up later.

Turning CAN'Ts into CANs

This layout is for Scrap The Girls - March challenge. W had to get a title and inspiration from one of the SHE quotes from Kobi Yamada. I picked "She turned her can'ts into cans, and her dreams into plans". This photo is from 1994 when I ran my first marathon.

One Special Lady

Red Earth Scrapping is having a CyberCrop - and the theme is about inspirational women. For this layout we had to pick a female that had played a significent role in our lives. I couldn't go past my friend Carol. We have been friends through thick and thin for the past 25 years...

Kinder Boy

A simple layout made for Stuck!?Sketches March 1 challenge. It is again old photos of Aidan when in Kinder at Taralye in Blackburn.

Down on the Farm

This layout was done for ScrapChat's March sketch, which was for a double layout. The pictures are old (1994) but the holiday was wonderful.

Benalla Camera Club March - Mounted prints

The mounted prints this month are "OPEN". I wanted to put this photo of Lyla in, to see if I can take a good baby pic (not just one where I love the baby).

I really struggled to choose a second photo. I seem to have a lot that I would like an opinion on, but I'm never really happy with the photo. This picture is taken at sunset from the hut near Mt. Feathertop.

Benalla Camera Club - March EDPI entries

This month's EDPI theme is 'Up Close and Personal', with an emphasis on macro. I'm not that good at macro so mine are just 'close'.

The first is titled "Street Art'

The second one titled "Yellow Dahlia"
