A recipe for fun

This layout is for 'Screen to Scrap', an inspiration challenge blog that uses movie posters as inspiration. This month the movie was Singing in the Rain. The photo is of my great nephew, Cooper, at 18 months of age.

Back to School (1996)

Here is my entry for Stuck!?Sketches April 15 sketch challenge. The photo is one of the 'annual' first day back at school photos that Daren insisted on each year. Looking back it's such a great memory, and the boys really were so excited about school (back then!!)

Benalla Camera Club April Challenges EDPI

The EDPI section this month is 'open'. My first print is from Paradise Falls, and I love how I managed to get this waterfall scene (sheer luck I think). My second print is from the top of Mt. Feathertop (again not so happy but I guess that's why I joined the camera club - to get better).

Benalla Camera Club - April Challenges

Our interclub 'mounted print' challenge theme this month is "landscape". And while I love to be in the great outdoors I am always disappointed with my landscape photos. In line with a promise I made to myself, I put them up here as a record of my year's work.

Madame Butterfly

This layout has been created for Kraft-it-up's April challenge which is a 1.2.3.4.5 challenge (1 piece kraft cardstock, 2 photos, 3 different alphas, 4 different pp's and 5 different embellishments). The photo is of my great neice, Zoe, who after a little encouragement tried on her new wings.

So Cute

This layout is created for April 1 Stuck!?Sketches. In addition, the challenge for RES is to add some masking using inks or mists. The photo is my great neice, Lyla, who just wouldn't smile for us on this day.

Elementary my dear Aidan

April 'Scrap the Boys' asks you to scrap a layout using an 'outfit' worn by the boy or man in your life. I couldn't go past Aidan dressed up as Sherlock Holmes for the school's book week parade (back in 1996). I've used the colors, the long thin look and tried to give the impression of searching for clues.

She's got SPUNK

Looks like Zoe's in the spotlight again, she really is quite photogenic (when she sits still!). This layout is for a new site 'Black with 2". The April challenge is to use mostly black with 2 extras, in this case the color lavender and glitter. My lovely friend Narelle is on the Creative Team for this site so I made sure I did this one early.

Froggy Boots - are cool boots

I visited my georgeous neices last week and had a lovely afternoon playing 'photographer' with their 4 children. Little Zoe is delighful, and wanted to show me her new 'froggy boots', so what better than to take some photos and scrap a layout about them. I've done this one for ScrapChat's April sketch challenge.
